The 2025 All Canada Sheep Classic, held July 10-12 at the Keystone Centre in Brandon, Manitoba, brought together breeders and industry stakeholders from across the country for Canada’s premier showcase of the top sheep genetics.

Producers from across the country were encouraged to attend, and CSBA is grateful to the more than 40 producers who participated.

A survey was done about sheep and goat breeders’ participation in various components of Canadian genetic improvement programs, including animal identification, registration, performance recording, use of on-farm management software, and genetic evaluation.
